Teddy Still Misses and Loves You All
Even though some time has passed, and the rhythm of the house has softened into a new normal, one thing hasn’t changed — Teddy’s quiet longing. Every day begins the same way: he stretches, gives a little yawn, and walks to the front window with that same hopeful spark in his eyes. He presses his nose gently against the glass, scanning the world outside as if expecting someone familiar to appear. His tail gives a soft wag… then stills.

Teddy has always been more than just a dog. He’s the emotional compass of our home. When someone’s sad, he’s the first to nuzzle up and offer silent comfort. When there’s joy, he soaks it in like sunshine, tail wagging wildly as if he’s the one who made it happen. So it’s no surprise that he feels things deeply now that life has shifted.

Sometimes we catch him lying on the rug in the hallway, the same spot he used to nap while waiting for the sound of a key in the door. And he hasn’t forgotten any of you. He remembers the walks, the playtime, the cuddles, the laughter. He remembers the voices that used to call his name with love. He misses you. But he still loves you, just as fiercely as ever.
