Today Is Teddy’s Birthday!
Today isn’t just another day—it’s Teddy’s birthday, and we’re celebrating the incredible joy he brings to our lives every single day. From the moment we brought him home, Teddy has been the heartbeat of this family. Through his silly antics, giant cuddles, and expressive “talking,” he’s made us laugh when we needed it most and comforted us when words weren’t enough.
After the whirlwind of vet visits, health scares, and surgery prep these past few weeks, this birthday means even more. Today is a reminder to celebrate life—to pause, be grateful, and cherish each precious moment we have with the ones we love, paws and all.
We went all out for the paw-ty, of course! Teddy and his siblings rocked their birthday hats like pros, and we had a full-blown doggy treat buffet featuring peanut butter pupcakes, bone-shaped biscuits, and yes, a meat cake topped with mashed potato “frosting.” No one went home with an empty belly!
We decorated the house with streamers, balloons, and a banner that said “HAPPY BARKDAY!” The energy in the room was a mix of excitement and deep gratitude—because this celebration wasn’t just for Teddy’s birthday; it was for his strength, resilience, and how he’s handled every challenge thrown his way lately.
We snapped what felt like a million photos (you know how photogenic Teddy is), and our hearts were full watching him soak up all the attention. Even though he’s been through a lot recently, Teddy was glowing today—tail wagging, eyes sparkling, surrounded by love. It was the kind of day that fills your soul.
Teddy’s had a tough season, but today we celebrated his joy, his life, and everything that makes him so special. Watching him nap peacefully after the party, snuggled between his favorite toys and his doggy siblings, reminded us why we fight so hard for him—because he’s family.
