Today is Teddy’s Birthday! 11 Years of Love, Laughter, and Loyalty
Today, we celebrate someone truly special — Teddy, our beloved golden boy, turns 11 years old! It’s hard to believe it’s been over a decade since this bundle of fluff first trotted into our lives, tail wagging and heart wide open. And oh, what a journey it’s been.
From the start, Teddy wasn’t just a pet — he became the soul of our home. With his goofy grin, endless affection, and gentle heart, he’s given us more joy than we ever thought possible. He’s the kind of dog who senses when someone’s sad and quietly lays his head on your knee. The kind who gets the zoomies after a bath. The one who patiently sits while kids smother him in hugs and dress him up in silly hats — like the one he’s wearing today.
Eleven years means thousands of belly rubs, countless walks, a million little moments that have made our lives better just by having him in them. He’s been our hiking buddy, our couch companion, our late-night snack partner, and our early morning wake-up call (with a wet nose, of course).
Teddy’s also a bit of a character — part drama king, part comedian. He’s the dog who fakes a limp for attention (and a treat), who “talks” back when you tell him no, who sulks when you don’t share your pizza crust. But it’s all part of his charm. And today, we honor all of it.
This birthday feels extra special. With every year that passes, we become more aware of just how lucky we are to still have him by our side. He’s slower now, his muzzle a bit grayer, his naps a little longer. But his heart? Just as strong. Just as golden. Just as full of love.
We’ve celebrated today with all his favorite things: a soft bed, his favorite squeaky toy, a birthday pupcake, and of course — so many cuddles.
So here’s to Teddy — to 11 incredible years of tail wags and memories, to the paw prints he’s left on our hearts, and to many more beautiful days ahead. You are more than just a dog, Teddy. You are family. And we are endlessly grateful for every moment we get with you.
