Laughs, smiles and cuddles. How growing up with dogs should be! Some of my favs from June camera roll ❤️

June’s camera roll feels like a time capsule of everything I love most about life with dogs—those fleeting little moments that somehow become the ones you treasure forever. When I scroll back through, it’s all there: the laughs, the smiles, and of course, the endless cuddles that only a dog can give.
There’s the picture of Teddy sprawled out on the couch, his belly in the air, paws dangling like he hasn’t a single care in the world. That one makes me laugh every time because it sums up his personality—relaxed, goofy, and totally comfortable in the home he’s built around us. Then there’s the shot where he’s mid-run, ears flying like little wings, eyes shining with that pure joy only dogs know. Looking at it, I can almost hear his paws hitting the grass, almost feel the breeze of him zipping by.
But the ones that hit me most are the cuddles. June gave me plenty of those. Teddy leaning against me during a quiet evening, his head heavy on my lap, the warmth of his body a kind of comfort words can’t explain. Or the soft nuzzle in the morning, when the world is still sleepy, and it’s just us in that gentle silence before the day begins. Those photos don’t just show a dog—they show family, love, and a bond that grows deeper with every passing day.
I think that’s what I love about capturing these moments. It’s not about getting the perfect shot—it’s about remembering the little things. The tail wags that blur the photo, the goofy faces that make me laugh out loud, the quiet moments that make me tear up because I know how precious they are.
Growing up with dogs means growing up with joy. It means laughter when you need it most, comfort when words won’t do, and love that never asks for anything in return. June’s camera roll reminded me of that over and over again, and I couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️
