Today, Teddy is sick, and the weight of that news has left everyone shaken, scared, and holding onto hope as tightly as we can.
It started with small signs. Teddy didn’t rush to the door when he heard footsteps. He didn’t bark when the mail arrived. He didn’t even lift his head when we called him with that cheerful voice we always use to get his tail wagging. At first, we thought he was just tired.
