After years of heartbreaking miscarriages and relentless fertility treatments, an Alabama couple is now joyfully welcoming six precious new blessings into their lives. Eric and Courtney Waldrop, already proud parents to three energetic boys, became a family of eleven last week when Courtney gave birth to beautiful sextuplets—three boys and three girls—filling their home with twice the love and endless hope.

“They’re oh so very little but absolutely perfect!!” Courtney shared in a deeply emotional Facebook post. Just days later, she gave a hopeful update: “Little did we know that a week ago today, the Lord would bless us by bringing our sweet little babies into the world. All six are doing well and have already come off the ventilator. These tiny miracles are true fighters.”
Proudly introducing their precious newborns—Blu, Layke, Tag, Rawlings, Rayne, and Rivers—the couple shared a touching series of photos that capture the joy and wonder of their growing family. While the babies steadily gain strength, Courtney has been focusing on her own healing, bravely admitting the journey has been anything but easy.

“Today has been incredibly hard for me,” Courtney wrote candidly. “My body is in complete shock after carrying six little lives inside me. I’ve been feeling very weak.” She described her recovery as a “slow go,” but despite the challenges, her spirit remains strong and hopeful as she gradually regains her strength.
The Waldrops first captured the public’s attention earlier this year when they learned Courtney was expecting sextuplets. The news brought a whirlwind of excitement—and fear—for the first-grade teacher. “I was scared to death,” she confessed. “I’m a smaller-framed woman, and my first thought was, how am I going to get six babies here safely without something happening to them or me? The fear was overwhelming. We didn’t know what to think or do.”

Eric and Courtney’s love story began as middle school sweethearts, a bond that grew stronger with time. They married in 2004 and soon started building their family, welcoming their first son, Saylor, in December 2008. Their journey wasn’t without challenges—after enduring multiple miscarriages, fertility treatments helped bring their twin boys, Wales and Bridge, into the world in January 2012.
But before the miracle of the sextuplets, Courtney faced yet another heartbreaking loss. “It was devastating,” she shared openly. “I can get pregnant so easily, but I just couldn’t hold on to them.”

Despite the many challenges they faced, Eric and Courtney never lost hope, trusting that their journey would guide them to where they were truly meant to be. Now, with six miraculous new additions to their family, Courtney looks forward with both anticipation and courage to the adventure of raising these precious little fighters. “I know each day will bring its share of tears and joy as we watch our babies grow,” she wrote, embracing the beautiful chaos and boundless love ahead.
